My mom & My mom
My spiritual journey started at a very young age. I remember, as a child, I always felt a divine intervention in everything I did. Being a quiet kid at school and home, I found solace in talking to a “Jesus, I trust in you” poster. I remember, when I came back from school, I closed the doors of my room and spoke to this person in front of me whom I addressed as my friend, my Father. Endless talks about the day, my insecurities, fears, and joy.
Then and now, nothing has changed. I never had a habit of taking out time to pray or read the Bible, but I have been in conversation with Jesus in the happiest moments and in the trying times.
I say a thank you when I am happy and I ask for strength when in doubt.
Is there a childhood memory that you could connect with from this. I’d love to read it in the comments section below.
Capturing one of the fastest creature was always on my wishlist. No matter how hard I tried, they run to the slightest sound.
But now it doesn’t seem to be the case. More than 6 months staying at home, we have become friends to the extent that it pose for pictures 😁
Life has always been uncertain. But this year, it has been different. Every day we wake up to a news that gives us reminders about the fragility of the Life.
So when everything is temporary, the best thing to do is appreciate the present – the gifts that we posses in form of mother nature, our family, our loved ones, ourself and everything that holds a dear place in our heart.
I pray may you and your loved ones be protected and be safe. God bless!
All it takes is to give yourself a break from being productive to being in the moment. We look for happiness when it’s right there around us, within us. The choice is ours. Be kind to yourself, the world is not going to end. Make the best out of the present.
– Me to myself ❤️
I have to be always ready with camera, for I do not know what can come next 💖
Home 🏡 is my sanctuary. I not only get to spend time with my family but also to be near to nature. My home is located in the outskirts of the city because of which it is unaffected by the hustle and bustle.
Whether it is the sunrise 🌅 or sunsets 🌇, chirping of the birds, feeling the cold breeze, or watching kids play cricket, my home is a one stop for finding peace.
Today, was no different. Here’s what I found :
I sent this picture to a group of my friends and asked how the picture is.
While I was expecting a “Wow” surprisingly, the first one to respond said – “This is just mud, what do want us to say?”
That’s a fair response, isn’t it? 😂
The picture was accidentally clicked when I was leveling the mud in the pot. I liked it though because it was one of those moments that was captured, that I enjoy the most. This is true reflection of my love for my plants and my little balcony garden.
I feel sad when I see even a single sign of leaves falling or the flowers drying. I take as much care of them by giving them sufficient water and light so that they can survive any weather conditions.
With that I leave you my masterpiece picture.. 😝
This was probably taken a couple of years ago. I usually leave one of the windows in my room open for fresh air. Once when I came back from work, I found two little birds hiding in the corner of the window. Getting a little closer, I was able to make out that they were building themselves a home.
Since I also wanted something to engage myself with, I let them stay there and left the windows open everyday so that they can complete their task for which they were so actively in the process of building that little nest.
I used to check their progress. There were three eggs already in the nest hatching. Days passed by. I started seeing a change in the activities of the parents. They were now coming with food for their little ones. I climbed on my bed to get a close-up view to find three cute babies with an open mouth asking for food 🙂
This was indeed enough for me to feel good about my decision to let them stay. Building a home within a home!
When we think about effective communication, the first thing that comes to our mind is active listening. It’s only when we are attentive to what other person says, we can respond back accordingly. This probably holds true for personal and professional life.
In our relationships though, active listening can never happen literally. Which means, if you are waiting for your loved one to express or say what they feel for you that can not happen always. There are times when we want to express and then there are times when we just express our love through our actions and deeds more than talking.
Thus, it’s important that we keep ourselves in the “listen only mode” in order to observe the beauty of people who are a part of our lives and not overlook any cues that are unintentionally given to us expressing their love and care.
